The Bishop L. L. Harrison scholarship fund was established in 2012 under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Faye Moore. The scholarship was named to honor Bishop Harrison for his talented abilities and service to the Church of the Living God and his family. In 2023, the general chief overseer, Bishop Dr. Calvin Worthem, renamed the Harrison/Manning Scholarship fund to honor the late Bishop Dr. N. A. Manning, 4th Chief Overseer and the only daughter of Bishop Harrison. Bishop Manning was also talented like her father; she was a renowned vocalist, a great teacher in the Church of the Living God, and loved the youth.

The scholarship committee is a springboard for youth members of the Church of the Living God-Jewell Dominion that renders spiritual and natural guidance to admonish the holistic growth of young people. Further, we offer financial support to assist youth in obtaining a college education.

Vision:

The Bishop Harrison scholarship fund is a resource that provides youth members access to post-secondary resources and information to ensure they are adequately prepared for college and become future professionals.

Mission:

The Bishop Harrison scholarship fund exists to encourage and fully support our young adults in their quest to pursue a college education, reach their fullest potential as tomorrow’s leaders, and return and help facilitate growth in the Church of the Living God-Jewell Dominion.
