Staff:

Bishop Marva Neal – Director of Wives Ministry

Our Purpose:

Our mission and purpose is to train and encourage wives to be faithfully committed to their marriages; (Titus 2:1-5) which means to bind by a promise or pledge, as in our wedding vows. With God’s help, we can do it.

Our view is that God ordained marriage, and that wives play an important role in the marriage as a help meet.

We believe:

  • When we marry, we enter into a binding covenant with our spouse
  • When God is at the center of that agreement, we will become better wives
  • Our purpose is to solidify wives in their position as wives

We intend to do so by:

  • Providing encouragement for wives
  • Involving individuals who may provide help
  • Offering wise counsel in hopes to inspire wives to be strengthened in their
marriages, and from this position they may reach out to help others who
    need healthy role models

We want to guide wives to:

  • First, Look to God and His Word (The Bible)
  • Be willing to obey God’s Word
  • Pray
  • Then, look to other resources for the solutions they are seeking

Announcements:

To All Wives…

Greetings to all of you, my sisters in Christ.
This is Bishop Marva Neal, and again I am looking forward to you joining me on our next Zoom Meeting for the wives, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2023 @ 9am (Eastern time and 6:00 am Western).
Our Topic will be coming from Ephesians 5:2: 5 “Husbands, Love Your Wives.” Subtopic: “Have I Told You Lately, That I Love You?”
I want to do things a little different this time. Please feel free to invite your husbands to join you if they can. I will be expecting answers from the wives and husbands as a couple, along with others.

Please be prepared to discuss the following questions…
Q. Can you remember the last time you said, “I love you” to each other? Q. Why is it important to say, “I Love You?”
Since love is an action word…
Q. Can you give an example of how you express your love for your spouse?
Q. Is touch important?
Q. Do you have some term of endearment?
Q. If you have not been in the habit of saying, “I Love You” to your spouse, are you ready to begin saying “I Love You” more in a meaningful way?
Let us all continue to pray for one another. May the Lord bless us all, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sincerely,
Bishop Marva Neal

To All Wives…

Greetings to each of you, coming from Bishop Marva Neal, I am inviting you to join  in with me on Zoom on Saturday, August 12th, at 9:00 am Eastern/time and 6:00  am my time. So please check to see what time for where you live.

I am excited to hear that so many of you are planning to join us, and I am looking  forward to seeing your beautiful faces, and hearing you share your views on the topic.

Our Topic for this month is in the form of a statement, “You better think before  you break the vows you made on the day you got married!” Please read  Ecclesiastes 5:5 and be prepared to discuss the following questions:

  1. – What is a vow?

  2. – What were the vows you made to your spouse?

  3. – Are you doing your best as a wife to keep your vows?

  4. – Who were the Witnesses when you got married?

  5. – Who holds us accountable for keeping our vows?

  6. – Is anyone thinking about walking away from your marriage?

  7. – Has anyone been to the point of giving up? Are you there right now? Q. – Has anyone been to the point of throwing in the towel, but stayed?   And are glad you stayed?

I am praying in advance that someone will receive help from this lesson. I don’t have  all of the answers, but God does! Please join in, and if your marriage is going well,  come on and encourage someone else who may be needing help right now. Start  praying now, that the Lord will hear our prayers and began to work. Someone may  join in the call to share their testimony of how they were on the brink of walking away,  but they changed their mind because we prayed!

God bless each of us as we endeavor to please Him. In Jesus name, Amen.

Sincerely,

Bishop Marva Neal
