Weekly Message

Date: January 15, 2024

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to Him be the Glory, Power, and Dominion forever and ever and to the Holy Ghost yet abiding in the body. The 2024 Proclamation is “God is Taking Us Higher”. This month’s phrase is “Going Higher in God”. This week’s message discusses Step No. 3 and Habit No. 4: leveling up Spiritually.”

Step No. 3: Speak the Word. Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”  Those who level up spiritually have learned to speak the Word over their lives and the lives of those around them.  They do not waste the power and authority Jesus provided for them. To get to this level, you must put God’s Word in your heart daily; speaking His Word will cause you to react with an automatic, predictable response – Faith. No matter what you face, talk about healing, blessing, abundance, forgiveness, and peace. You must confess God’s Word in faith; it will change your life.

Habit No. 4: Control Your Thought Life. Joshua 1:8 reads, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Is your thought life toxic? The mind, spirit, and body are interconnected; your thoughts affect your words, which affect your health, prosperity, joy, peace, and other areas of your life. Thoughts are real. The brain brings all thoughts into captivity.  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

In closing, to bring every thought into captivity, begin focusing on what you’re thinking about. Thoughts like, you’re not going to get healed; you’re going to die; you’ll never get promoted, need to be cast down, you should resist them. Never let thoughts like these go unanswered. Instead, say, “I’m not agreeing with that thought because that is not what God has promised me. And you must be humble, show humility, be steadfast, and be unmovable as you level up spiritually. Next week’s message will discuss Habit No. 5: Strengthen Your Heart Through Praise, Habit No. 6: Pray in the Spirit, and Habit No. 7: Get Rid of Baggage. Until then, remember, “…with God, all things are possible” Matthew 19:26.
