Greetings to my beloved brothers and sisters in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am saved, sanctified, and kept by the power of the Holy Ghost. I give honor to our General Chief Overseer, Bishop Dr. Calvin Worthem, Assistant Overseer, Bishop Dr. Bonnie Guster, the Chief Helpers, and all church officials who work tirelessly to spread the Good News and bring souls to Christ. Your dedication is truly inspiring.
Saints, as I was preparing our evening meal, which mainly consisted of fresh vegetables from our family gardens, the words “HARVEST TIME” came to my mind. In the past, most families had their own gardens, but nowadays, our children are busy with their own homes and jobs, and they mainly get their vegetables from the store. However, my brother-in-law, Deacon Dave Crudup, the Associate Pastor of Corinth, MS, cares for our family garden. In the Spring, we see him tilling the soil to prepare it for the seeds. He works hard to prepare the soil for planting, and soon, we see the seeds sprout and produce vegetables. Just as with natural seeds, growing the fruits of the Spirit takes time. Galatians 5:22 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
I encourage all pastors to continue feeding their members with the word of God and having them accept it, as the fruit of the Spirit will manifest in due time. Hebrews 3:15 tells us, “…today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts…” I urge all members to allow the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts so God’s word can take root.
Revelation 21:27 reminds us that nothing defiling shall enter God’s kingdom. Let us strive to live without sin and repent with a contrite heart if we do sin, knowing that God will forgive us.
In closing, I humbly ask for your prayers for the Overseer and our family. Your unwavering support is not only appreciated but also crucial to our mission. We assure you that we will also pray for you and your family. Let us live so that one day we may hear, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant.’ God bless you all.
All Praise, Be To The True and Living God.
His Servant,
