Message from the Desk of First Lady Deaconess Linda Worthem

Date: April 28, 2024

Holy Greetings to the Saints of God. I give honor and all praises to the Almighty God and the Holy Ghost. I am yet saved, satisfied, and kept by the power of the Holy Ghost. I give honor to the General Overseer, Assistant Overseer, Chief Helpers, and all officials who live, teach, and preach according to the word of God.

Saints the Overseer and I praised God when we heard about the anointed service in each state assembly and the women’s revival in Mississippi at Latter Rain. We praise God for each soul that was saved, rededicated their life to God, healed, and especially, each soul that received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Praise God!

We also thank God for each official who traveled to facilitate the Spring State Assemblies; we heard you did an awesome job. Thank you, Bishop Anthony Taylor and Trial Bishop Mildred Wortham from the Mississippi Saints; Bishop Alex Wortham and Bishop C. J. Edmond from the Wisconsin Saints; Bishop Fulmore and Trial Bishop Ronnie Mozee from California Saints; Bishop Rosemary Buchanan and Trial Bishop Diane Deputy, from the Pennsylvania Saints, Minister Alphaeus Williams from the Kansas Saints, and Bishop Dr. Bonnie Guster from the Arizona Saints. I also want to thank Bishop Rhonda Cox, who organized the Mississippi Women’s Revival held April 17- 21, 2024.

I strongly urge all to do as Nicodemus did: go to Jesus and ask Him what we must do to enter the Kingdom of God. John 1:1-3 says, “There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be bone again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Make this request personal because God will not reward you for what someone else has done. This is an individual journey. As a child, we used to play “April Fool” on the 1st day of April. The game’s goal was to tell someone something you knew was not true. However, when it comes to the word of God, it’s important to remember that it is true. When you read or hear it, believing and obeying it is essential. Don’t let anyone deceive you.

In closing, I thank God for keeping everyone who traveled by plane or car safe on their way to their destination and back home. During our stay in Tupelo, the Overseer and I received tremendous support from the “Women on the Move” group, who provided us with a basket of goodies. We are also grateful to the person who arranged our comfortable hotel room and Bishop Stokes for the delicious soul food that we enjoyed. We were well-fed and blessed.

As we continue our journey, I ask that you keep Overseer Worthem and our family in your prayers. We will do the same for you and your loved ones. Let’s continue to pray for each other and show love to everyone. Remember, prayer works!

All praises be to the Almighty God.

His Servant,

Deaconess Linda Worthem
