Bishop Ninious Randall

We never met our great-grandfather, but we heard so much about him. He pastored the headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee in the 1950’s under Bishop Keith. From there, he was assigned to pastor churches in Florida and later in the early 1960’s under Bishop J. R. Lockley, Band #1 in Philadelphia, PA, where he served until his death in 1986. He was an inspiration in the entire city of Philadelphia, PA and a great man of self-control and faith.

Under Bishop Lockley, some churches transferred to the Jewell Dominion. While  serving under Bishop M. L. Jewell, he worked with a group of leaders who were  assigned to put out fires and encourage the saints to remain faithful in the Lord around the country. One of his most memorable sermons was “Abide in the Ship.”  Our grandmom, Elder Paulette Randall-Richards also reminds us of some of his  saying when we don’t complete a chore.

An example of this is “Once a task has begun, never leave it till it’s done. Be the  task great or small, do it well or not at all”. We don’t know who wrote it, but Pop Pop used it a lot to keep them doing the right things.
