Holy greetings, my brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I remain saved, sanctified, and kept by the power of the Holy Ghost. I give honor to our General Chief Overseer, Bishop Dr. Calvin Worthem, the Assistant Overseer, Bishop Dr. Bonnie Guster, the Chief Helper, and all officials who work tirelessly to spread the word of God and bring souls to Christ.
Saints, I thank God for the opportunity to share some words of encouragement with you once again. I am grateful for His protection over the saints and people in Florida and North Carolina. None of the saints lost their homes, and, more importantly, none lost their lives during Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Praise God! I also thank Him for all the churches sending aid to hurricane victims.
I praise God for our Area Bishop Aurora Jones’ powerful and assured teaching of the Word of God, which emphasizes the importance of obedience to His teachings.
As a child, I remember going trick-or-treating on Halloween night, collecting lots of candy, and sometimes receiving fruits as treats. The Holy Bible is like those bags of treats—it is filled with good things that lead to many blessings if we obey its teachings. The Bible contains guidelines meant for our benefit, and as godly parents, we should not allow just anything to happen in our homes. God has many rules, while Satan has only one: to disobey the Word of God. We should ask ourselves whose rules we are following. St. John 8:44 reminds us, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it.”
Satan has a large bag of tricks, and they are all lies. Here are just a few of his tricks that he may try to make you believe: (1) You don’t need the Holy Ghost, (2) He will have you focusing on someone else’s sins instead of your own, and (3) There is no need to pay tithes. Saints, remember that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. John 10:10 states, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Satan seeks to destroy you both naturally and spiritually. His aim is to keep you out of heaven, as he has been there and knows what awaits you. Apostle Paul spoke of receiving a crown of life. James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” And John 14:2 assures us, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Saints do not let Satan trick you; instead, obey the Word of God.
In closing, I encourage you to continue praying for the General Chief Overseer and those traveling with him to Africa. I urge you to always obey the Word of God.
ALL PRAISES BE TO THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!!!!!!
