2023 Year End Greeting

Date: December 31, 2023

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to Him be the Glory, Power, and Dominion forever and ever and to the Holy Ghost yet abiding in the body. Today we have been blessed to see the last day of the year of 2023, let us give God total praises for His bountiful grace and mercy toward us!

My Year-End-Greeting to you comes from the writing of Apostle Paul in Philippians 1:2-11, “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every  remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship  in the gospel from the first day until now; being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good  work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all,  because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the  gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.”

First Lady Linda Worthem, Bishop Dr. Bonnie S. Guster, and I would like to thank everyone for the birthday gifts, the calls, texts of encouragement, and all other causes of celebrations and greetings we received throughout the year. Your demonstrations of love were greatly appreciated. We also thank you for supporting the various State Assemblies and for coming together in the spirit of unity. We are also grateful to God for the souls added in 2023. To God be the glory!

As you celebrate Jesus in your Watch Night services, the FBI is encouraging church congregations to be on alert – be very watchful and diligent because the devil will be busy. It is our prayer that everyone will be safe and have a blessed New Year as we enter a season recognizing that “God is Taking us Higher” in 2024!

In closing, I leave you with Philippians 3:16, “Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” We want to unite more in 2024 and become one in Christ. Remember “…with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). We love and appreciate you all!
