Holy greetings, my brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I remain saved, sanctified, and kept by the power of the Holy Ghost. I give honor to our General Chief Overseer, Bishop Dr. Calvin Worthem, the Assistant Overseer, Bishop Dr. Bonnie Guster, the Chief Helper, and all officials who work tirelessly to spread the word of God and bring souls to Christ.
“Saints, I want to express my gratitude to God for the success of the Badin, NC Revival! It was a true blessing to witness a soul returning to the church and receiving the Precious Gift of the Holy Ghost. I am thankful to everyone who attended and supported the launch of the Badin Project. God truly blessed us in each service. Following the wonderful prayer walk on Saturday morning, the mayor of Badin met with the Overseer and the saints. Bishop Dr. Rosette Coney discussed how the renovated building will be used to benefit not only the church community but the entire Badin community. The building will serve as a campsite, shelter for the homeless, shelter for battered women and men, and more. The mayor and others were open and willing to support the restoration process. Let’s give thanks for the hard work of the Board of Trustees: Bishop Dr. Calvin Worthem, Bishop Dr. Bonnie Guster, Bishop Renile Smith, Bishop George Cox, Bishop C.J. Edmond, and Ex-Officio’s Bishop Kim Dukes and Bishop Horace Chambers in launching the Badin Project.”
The Overseer and I would like to express our gratitude to the members of Badin for the large basket of delicious treats. We also want to thank Bishop Betty Barnes, Deacon Barnes, Deaconess Alice McBride, and other saints from Philadelphia for the wonderful soul food. They not only fed us but also other members. We truly appreciate each one of you for your labor of love. I also praise God for the powerful sermons that were given, the beautiful song written by Elder Sharon Chambers, that was sung by her and Bishop Dr. Rosette Coney during the revival.
In my closing, I leave you a summary of the message that I gave on Sunday that is, “STAY IN THE RACE”, don’t let anything or anybody stop you from serving God, Ecclesiastes 9:11, “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, not yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all” and Matthews 24:13, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
ALL Praise Be To The Truly And Living God.
